Most social media is calling Trump a chicken or coward. Sure he may be, he dodged the Vietnam draft, and he failed to take the stand in his own defense. But I think he knows the debate will be a disaster for him even if its a draw. Like Reagan vs Carter more Americans will view Kamala as qualified to be the president. Her youth and vigor compared to a 78 year old man will be stark. But that is not what will really hurt trump, having kamala on the same stage alone with an Ex President will give Kamala instant legitimacy. Now if she humiliates him, he will never recover just like Biden.
I was pretty sure Trump would never show up to debate Harris. Now he is backing out. Sadly for trump it will make no difference. There is really nothing he can do at this point, he really does look depressed and has aged 10 years.
